Success Report «Pretender Success Today»© /#24/ IN PERSON +MAIL SUCCESS, WHOA! I got 3 SCOOTER autographs and meet the band! (Leon a.k.a. Pretender) ----------------Thu, 7-Oct-99 ----------------- Hi Folks, I was long time hard fan of the SCOOTER band and I was very lucky to hear the news that they are coming with concert to Riga. (This is #3 band in my favourites) So I hoped to apply the same technique as with Bryan Adams - leave a letter in RADISSOS SAS HOTEL which already proven the good method, as this is the only STAR class hotel in Riga, where all VIP (and my boss by the way:) staying. The concert was on September 11. I prepared 2 packages. One send by mail c/o hotel one day before. the second - delivered by hand and gave to the hotel stuff, together with my business card, saying this is very important for the SCOOTER management to get the package. (:)) The surprize was that actually organizers played about 8 SCOOTER trivias on our local RADIO, which I all hardly tried to call and win and I actually, WON! the last one! So the prize included a free backstage pass and a meeting with the band time. COOL! So, after great concert I have meet the band with a few other lucky fans. Amazingly I was the only one to carry the photo camera. So I took many pics of them and me and the autograph. We were allowed to be there only 2 minutes, so I ended up only with one ISP autograph on the concert flyer and several pictures. I used opp. to chat with them and it was all-in-all cool event. I really feel lucky. When the Monday I went to work - I received 2 more local envelopes with both my pictures signed by all of them. My dream finally came true, because I really wanted to get their autos long time ago... |
