OK This time I late with report. Too late, so I am editing this straight into a website. Ok what to start with?
First bad news - I sent my photo, along with SASE and great pic (10x8BBW)
which can be seen above to Arnold himself to address provided. And I got refusal. Not that I haven't heard about it. I just wanted to see if he refuse me. He did. You can read refusal letter above. If you read STARARCHIVE you will seee that I am not the first one and probably not the last one to receive this refusal.
As you can see in this letter - they refer to his website, to buy signed memorabilia. In fact what his website offers is a limited number of signed items on auction each month: 10 photos (5 - T2 and 5 - bodybuilding) and some signed DVDs and videos. All auction money goes to charity of Special Olympics.
Being a big fan of Arnold I decided to participate in this auction (May)and won it. My bid was about sixty bucks on T2 photo. So what I have got - is a very nice service of his team: they said that (after payment) I will get my photo as soon as Arnold will be back from some event to autograh this months items. I asked if he can inscribe it for me in the unique way. They said yes. So after this in about 2 weeks I received a message saying that theitem was shipped and Arnold thanks me a lot for
participating in his charity event.
Well. In a week I have received a neatly packed FedEx letter with this EXTREMELY COOL PICTURE handsigned as you may see above in great gold ink. The quality is outstanding and it just overwhelms me. Cool!
So was it worth it? Definately yes. Arnolds authentic auto from dealers
ranges from $120 to 100 Brit pounds and you still have the issue with authenticity. But here for a neat sum of 60 bucks you get authentic sig inscribed to you the way you want and Arnold's thanks. Finally money went to a good cause. As a bottom line I highly recommend you to go to his website (here is a link www.schwarzenegger.com) and try to bid on his photo. This is really outstanding memorabilia from a man-legend.
